Here's how The Free Way works:

1. Determine if your .epub meets the following appearance qualifications and can pass the Three Press Consulting ePub Check Validator

Professional Format Qualifications: 

eBook opens at a professional, saleable* cover.

Title page starts three lines below top of page

Each section of frontmatter starts at top of page

Indexed Table of Contents

Each chapter starts at top of page

Each chapter heading is dropped and centered

Each section of backmatter starts at top of page

eBook is free of all buy links

No outstanding formatting errors.

2. If your .epub file meets the above qualifications, contact us.  If your title and cover are deemed by us as saleable, we will start the author-member application process and send you the required font matter, including the ISBN, to be added into your eBook.

3. With the required front-matter in place, create a new .epub file.

4. Send us the new .epub file and we'll list your ebook with the various eRetailers and begin promotion through eBook Discovery.

You have your book ready-to-go in a clean (error-free) Word document, and you have a professional, saleable* cover.  But you don't own conversion software to make the eBook.
